I am writing with a heavy heart to share some bittersweet news: after 15 incredible years of producing wines and nurturing our vineyard, Blackdown Ridge will be closing as Martin Cook prepares for a well-deserved retirement.

Since 2010 Blackdown Ridge has been more than just a vineyard—it’s been a labour of love, a family legacy, and a place where passion for winemaking could flourish. 

As we prepare to close our doors, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your support over the years. Whether you’ve enjoyed our wines, partnered with us as a supplier, or simply shared in the beauty of our vineyard, your trust and collaboration have been essential to our journey.

We will cherish the memories we’ve made together—every vineyard visit, every shared toast, and every story of how our wines became part of your special moments.
